The Story of NOLANC
The name "NOLANC" is a combination of the French words "Noir" (black) and "Blanc" (white).
Web design, much like the contrast between black and white, invites us to discover a harmonious balance between creativity and functionality.
We believe that beautiful web designs can shine even with a black and white palette, allowing key elements - such as structure, layout and typography - to stand out without relying solely on color. While these principles are essential, color also plays a vital role in shaping a brand's identity and communicating its message. With this in mind, we thoughtfully integrate color to enhance our designs, ensuring that every detail contributes to a seamless and engaging user experience.

Miha's unique journey to becoming a web designer lies at the heart of her role as the founder of NOLANC Web Design.
After graduating from university in Tokyo, she spent seven years in the drug development industry, where she supported clients with their inquiries. This experience not only sharpened her customer relations skills but also sparked her keen interest in user-friendly web design.
After starting a family, she decided to change career paths and pursue web design, driven by her passion for creativity. To facilitate this transition, she enrolled in a web development program to gain the technical skills and expertise needed. This journey ultimately led her to found her heart-led studio, NOLANC Web Design. She finds genuine joy in all aspects of web development — planning, design, and coding — which inspires her to create thoughtful solutions tailored to each project.

My son often inspires me to think outside the box, encouraging me to embrace creativity and view the world through a different lens. His fresh ideas and boundless imagination remind me of the importance of exploring things from multiple perspectives.
